Sonar with uTorrent not removing finished downloads

Description of issue (if you think you’ve found a bug please include steps to reproduce): I have Sonar setup and working. It is linked to uTorrent to auto add the downloads which works fine. When the downloads finished the files are then copied to the corresponding TV show folder and renamed but the downloads are still present in uTorrent.

I have completed download handling enable as well as the remove option. Is Sonarr waiting for something to happen before it removes them? If I manually stop them in uTorrent will Sonarr eventually remove them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is covered in the ((FAQ)) as the torrent is still seeding.

Is there anyway to change this behavior so it is removed when finished downloading? I guess the problem is if there is bunch of torrents the seeding becomes queued and they just sit in there until all the torrents are finished.

Not on Sonarr’s side, you’d need to set lower seeding goals in your client.
