Check for Finished Downloads Stuck

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4753
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): -
OS: Windows
((Debug logs)): https://pastebin.com/7gx04M0L
(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here)
Description of issue: Since few months ago, sonarr stopped to check for finished downloads. First I thought that was a problem with my torrent client, but after resetting it’s configuration and properly set it up again the problem continues. Sonarr never detect a finished download. I have already checked logs in trace mode, but can’t find an error. The whole machine is restarted periodically. Every try to solve the problem manually starting the Task Check for Finished Downloads it stucks “running” and never complete.

Topics I have already read but not resolved my issue:

Clear your log files, then restart Sonarr and post the logs for the first few minutes of Sonarr running (may be multiple files), that way we can see exactly when it ran and didn’t run again, the current logs don’t show Check for Finished Downloads running at all.

Update:
After cleaning logs and restarting trace: https://pastebin.com/hZPY2s8d debug: https://pastebin.com/wfE4PMZG

It looks like Check For Finished Download is executing properly, but maybe because there is nothing to process from your download client. If that’s the reason it’s not failing now, tracking the last run would be a matter of finding the last time 17-6-28 18:23:12.6|Trace|CommandQueueManager|Inserting new command: CheckForFinishedDownload was logged when it stops functioning.

Actually there are 2 episodes already downloaded but not imported. One of them have no option to be manually imported.

I have just noticed that Sonarr thinks that the downloads have not finished… in fact not even started in the Activity page:
This explain why I have no option to manually import…

Looking in the Series’ Episodes list, otherwise, Sonarr know it is already done:

I hope theses 2 pieces of details help to figure it out.

0 B / 1.67 GB is 100% downloaded as it’s zero bytes remaining (and why it’s 100% downloaded on the series page).

What’s the status of it in the queue?
You can also, restart Sonarr and check the ((debug logs)) to see why it isn’t importing (restarting to clear out any cached attempts).

I thought 0B as downloaded, not as remaining… Tks for clarifying this point.

Torrent client’s queue? It is “Finished”.

Please confirm if the following steps are the correct to get the best logs possible to investigate:

  1. I’ll clean Sonarr logs.
  2. Stop Sonarr.
  3. Start it again.
  4. Let it run for 5 minutes.
  5. Get the logs and paste here again.
  6. We analyse it together

Is it enough? If you confirm I’ll proceed this way and get it done. Please confirm.

Sonarr’s queue (hover over the icon on the left).

As long as logs = ((debug logs)), yes, that’ll work.

Sorry, never imagined that icons as status… they are Queued.

Tks, I’ll be back soon with this done

Update:
Debug Logs: https://pastebin.com/aXjtq34E
Trace Logs:
part1: https://pastebin.com/bCBx17X9
part 2: https://pastebin.com/Jw9zM0Gt

I saw some errors in Debug, but they are apparently related with RSS updating, not with this problem.
What you think?

It looks like uTorrent isn’t setting the status as Sonarr expects, the status is it returning is Loaded, but for Sonarr to treat it as complete it must be Loaded + Checked (and have 0 (bytes?) remaining and progress at 1.0).

Which version of uTorrent are you using?

uTorrent’s version is 3.5 build 43916 32-bit.

Any chance of misconfiguration on uTorrent made by me?

Update: I think that I should mention that in this meantime another episode was downloaded and well handled. I did nothing different from usual .

I’m starting question if the investigation is still needed.

I’ll import the episodes manually this time and wait for the new episodes that will be downloaded tonight and tomorrow. I’ll, then, come back here to say if it worked as expected or failed, ok?

Update2: Hi again.
The downloaded episodes has been handled as expected. I don’t know what was wrong… Anyway, thank you for your attention.
If it start to happen again, I’ll post back.
