Netflix Show 3 percent and search

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4389

Description of issue: There’s a new TV series on Netflix called 3% (yup that’s the name - reserved character and all). Scene releases use 3.percent or 3 percent as the title because - reserved characters. Sonarr searches for 3% and fails because of the mismatch. Is there some way to override the tvdb / tvrage / tvmatch id search to look for 3 percent instead of 3%?

Yeah there is a form for that, explained here:

Someone submitted a useless one previously that would work, but wouldn’t come back with search results, but not the proper one it seems.

That was probably me. I submitted yesterday (the 6th). Wasn’t sure if that form was still valid, as I didn’t know what the current backend for Sonarr was.

Thanks though Markus, for all that you do. Sonarr is the best downloader of the downloaders!

It was from back on Nov 27th, added it now, should show up the next time the series refreshes in Sonarr (as long as the a ~15 minute cache has expired).

Thank you sir!

I refreshed the series today, but when I do a manual search for episodes it still does not return the correct series (I’m getting 30 Rock and some other stuff in the results)…I noticed out on the indexer I use that the scene actually named these “3 percent” spelled out…is there any way to get Sonarr to search for the spelled out version?

Thanks!

That is what Sonarr is doing already (with the alias that was previously added).

Then I’m confused…when I do a manual search, why is it not finding “3 percent”? I can provide a screenshot if necessary…

Depending on your indexer ((debug logs)) should show exactly what Sonarr searched for, it may be your indexer not returning result (which debug logs will also show).

(BTW is there an easier way to attach? The uploader in here doesn’t allow TXT or zip files.)

Out on the actual indexer I use, the scene name appears to be “3.Percent.S01E01.WEB.X264-DEFLATE”

Thanks!

Those aren’t ((debug logs)) so they don’t show anything of value.

Uploading them somewhere else and linking is the only way to attach them.

I’m not sure what you need then because the article you link to says sonar.txt is the most recent log…

Not the most recent debug log though (which is also listed in that article), that is labeled sonarr.debug.txt (of course you need to enable debug logging as mentioned in the article).

OK I enabled debug, did a couple searches manually, and then got the debug file:

Your indexers aren’t returning any results for that series, you can see all the searches it did (including 3 percent) in the logs:

First it searched your Newnab indexer by tvdbid and got 0 results, then RARBG, then tried the known names from 3%, which is the alias 3 percent and the title with special characters removed (3).

You’ll need to reach out to your newznab indexer to see why it’s not returning results.

Weird. Guess I’ll just download it manually from said indexer, because it’s showing in the search results there.
