GUI is not live updating, signalR issues?

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5225
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Windows 7
Debug logs:Trace Log Here
(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here. Post in .txt not .doc, .rtf or some other formatted document)
Description of issue:
Having issues with the websocket/signalR not working. I have Googled the issue a lot and found several forum posts that have the same issue, but they are running on docker/mono/ some NAS product

Same issue as me: https://forums.sonarr.tv/t/gui-update-issues/4195/2

This is happening on Windows 7 I get this error in Chrome console

http://servername:8989/signalr/negotiate?apiKey=removed&_=1529555956433 500 (Internal Server Error)
Local LAN, no firewalls, etc
I have removed .NET framework, rebooted and reinstalled
I have wiped out the config.xml, logs.db, and nzbdrone.db files to reset sonarr

I am out of ideas on where the issue is. The interface works fine except I dont see any popup in the bottom right corner saying its scanning or updating something, also the calendar and activity screens dont update on the fly either, not without hitting F5 in the browser.

Which version of the .net framework do you have installed?
Try downloading the latest runtime (4.7.2 currently) from https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/windows and upgrade/repair the install.

I had 4.7.1 installed, but when I uninstalled/reinstalled I got 4.7.2 installed.

I will try the upgrade/repair and see if that fixes it.

I have all windows updates installed as well.

EDIT: Tried that and no change on the error, didnt seem to make any difference.

Might be a long shot, but anything in the Window’s event viewer?

I dug around in there but didnt see anything. So I just cut my losses and figured it would be faster just to rebuild the VM from a fresh install and set everything back up again restoring from backups.

The good news is that worked great, Sonarr is working as expected again.

Thanks for your help.
