I would like to be able to select the intallation path of Sonarr.
I have a not so big C: SSD drive on my servers and although programdata is a good place (program files been better?) where it’s not bound to a user profile, at least let us choose where to install it.
Put it under an advanced button or something during installation, for us hardcore users
I’ve managed to move it and re register the service but then the update dosen’t work.
I should mention that I’m using the torrents branch and I can update the folder manually from GitHub, but since you are doing such a good job and update it almost everyday I can’t keep up
The folder had the right permissions, went back to programdata since I didn’t have the time to keep up with your insane update rate . Gonna try it again directly from zip when I get the time.
I mean from the zip downloaded from Github, I’m not that confident on using Github and haven’t used it much before.
Thats a copy of the code, not the compiled binaries. The zip with compiled code is here: Index of /v2/master/latest/
I do get that, but from an ease of installation its easier to leave it out and if people need more control they can go with the more advanced option of using the zip, its one less thing to worry about when people are having issues. Maybe it will get some love when we rebrand the installer, but no promises.
I’ve now found the post about the change from the November 17, I must clean my glasses I’ve missed alot
I’ve got torrents in the settings/genreal/branch right now and the latest update was November 20?
Changing to develop from now then.
Thank you for the help.
