It’s been a little while I’ve posted because everything is working fine for me.
However I’m wondering if it’s possible to add an alternate naming to series name. For example, Randy Jackson presents America’s best dance crew (what a mouthful) is usually named abdc when looking for files.
Anything that can be done in this type of situation?
Where do you see releases named with just ABDC?
We maintain a list for alternate names: Scene Naming (TVDB Naming Conflicts) but in this case we need to know a lot more about it. If they are released as just ABDC we’re not likely to support it as its not a wildly used format.
You can simply check Kickass to see. I’ve seen it as: “Randy Jackson presents ABDC” or “ABDC” or “America’s best dance crew” or the full title. Manual searches via Sonarr never returns any results somehow. Here are two searches on Kickass: https://kat.cr/usearch/americas%20best%20dance%20crew/

Maybe an alternate naming would give better results, unless the issue lies elsewhere?
I added Americas Best Dance Crew as an alias for season 8, I didn’t adjust any other seasons or add the less commonly used alternate names for previous seasons though.
