Why did Sonarr grab two torrents for the same episode?

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.3953
OS: Windows 7
((Debug logs)) (posted to hastebin or similar): NA
Description of issue (if you think you’ve found a bug please include steps to reproduce):

Last night Sonarr seemed to grab two torrents for the same episode. Both of them finished (I have utorrent configured to send me an email when the download is done), and I was left with a single file for the episode. I have upgrade to propers disabled, and this is the first time it has done this.

I looked in the logs and am unable to find what happened to cause this. Can someone point me to where I can find what happened? The end result was fine, I’m just curious as to what caused this.

Thank you!

The 2nd is a proper. A Proper, Repack or ReRip will replace the same quality file to fix issues with the original file, commercial wasn’t cut out completely, audio is out of sync, missing content or another issue with the file.

If you never want propers you can disable it in settings.

Hi Markus,

Thanks! Like I mentioned, it was disabled in settings already and has been for a long time.

Is there another place to disable it besides File Management > Download Propers > No ?

Sorry skimmed that, that setting relies on the file being imported, since the original wasn’t imported there isn’t anything to compare it to so it allows it.

We have a GHI opened to resolve that:
