What's with this so called 4.9 update

Sonarr version 4.0.15.2940:

RebornOs (Arch based):

Opened Sonnar to find it on the updates page saying 4.9??? would need to be installed outside of Sonarr:

Sonarr was just as it would be on a fresh install after selecting the login type. I went into backups and chose my one from late yesterday and once it finished Sonarr is back to being the 4.0.15.2940 version.

This happened again without any warning or any offered update that I could see. Rolling back this time did not correct the issue. Any idea what is going on with this when it’s been behaving great?

Would love to thank the devs for all of their help getting this resolved, NOT.

I found that somehow I had Sonarr 3.0 install as a Snap package. I installed Snap but haven’t used it cause the only reason it’s in is for one app that once in awhile stops working and the only way to fix it is to switch to the Snap version. I have removed the Snap Sonarr and disabled the Snap services and removed Snap itself.

You’re welcome, next time you probably shouldn’t install multiple versions from multiple sources.

Actually they meant that the 3.0 version wasn’t something they installed. They had at that point not installed any snap packages.
