What options would I use to get only WEB-DL's from Torrent sites

I’m using Sonarr 2.0.0.2663.

My situation is such that I prefer to download everything from USENET. However, WEB-DLs don’t always show up on USENET so I use torrents to get them. I’m trying to figure out how to get Sonarr just to search torrent sites for 720p WEB-DLs. (I never want it to get HDTV or BluRay from torrent sites).

I’ve looked at delay profiles. It looks like I can’t delay (or completely include/exclude) based on a quality, yet that seems to be a very practical & common situation. I see that I can add tags to a delay profile. But, I don’t see how that is useful in my situation unless I only want WEBDL-720p quality for a show. (I generally want 720p WEB-DL and BluRay. For HBO & Showtime shows, I also include HDTV because these networks may not make WEB-DL’s available for at least a year.).

Can Sonarr do what I’m trying to do? Or, do I have to use the general Torrent Delay setting? That might work since HDTVs are generally available within 60 minutes after the show airs. I could set a Torrent Delay to 90 minutes so that it should ignore the HDTV quality and pick up the WEB-DL. (Hopefully, BluRay versions show up on Usenet before they show up on torrent sites. Don’t know.)

Can Sonarr do this? If so, what options do I set?

Thanks

There isn’t something in Sonarr to handle this specific scenario, its an interesting one, but I agree not very common.

Delays is your best bet, set your preference on the delay profile to Usenet and a reasonable delay and it will delay grabs. The only time you might see some issues is if HDTV and WEB-DL are posted around the same time (within that 90 minute window), if its only on torrents at the end of 90 minutes it will be grabbed from torrents.

Tags are used to link a particular delay profile to series with at least one matching tag.
