What downloads the NZB - Sonarr or NZBGet?

Just wondering what actually downloads the NZB file itself. Does Sonarr pass the Indexer URL to NZBGet to download it? Or does Sonarr actually download the NZB and pass it off to NZBGet locally?

Iirc sonarr grabs it and sends it to get

I use this scenario (for what I understand from it):

  • Sonar detects through indexer the video
  • From the indexer the nzb (that meets the vdeo setting that has been setup in Sonarr) is downloaded and passed on to NZBGet of SABnzb.
  • The latter dowloads the video
  • Sonarr orders NZBGet or SABnzb to move the download matter into the Sonarr defined category sub folder.

Note:

  • Categories root folder setup in Sonarr should sync NZBGet / SABnzb as otherwise the download will reside in the NZBget or SABnzb download root folder.

Sonarr does not order get/SAB or anything

Sonarr just passes the category and it’s destination is controlled by get/sab
