When picking the season for a show in the manual import screen, the series are listed from low to high. This means that for a show like BBC Documentaries, you have to scroll down through potentially 100 series to find the latest. The most common use-case will almost always be to add a show to the newest series, not the oldest. So it would make sense for the series list to show newest (i.e., highest series number) first.
