v2 is awesome

just wanted to thank the whole team behind Nzbdrone! just switched back from Sickbeard and I really must say that you guys worked your magic on V2. Wow! it looks amazing, it works like a charm, the manual search of releases is just genius, easy setup even with only an ipad and a NAS available, scene exceptions and a lot more. Thank you so much for this!

Thank you! We really, truly do appreciate yours (and everyone’s feedback), its great to see people getting so much out of NzbDrone.

+1 great job! I love the manual search as well as well as the new interface. Keep up the great work.

+2. It’s already up there with the best, and the breakneck updates will likely soon have it in a league of its own.

Glad you guys like it. It feels great knowing all the tine we spent on NzbDrone is appritiated by you guys. All we can ask you is to spread the word. Let your friends know and maybe even setup NzbDrone for a friend or family member.

V2 does indeed kick ass. thank you devs for the time and effort

I agree just waiting on the linux version :slight_smile:

Then i can move from windows server to an ubuntu server

actually currently running a seperate ubuntu server with a VM of WinXp with V2 on it :wink: at least until native install is ready

@protocol77 Its coming. We are working on a package repo and a deb/rpm package to enable auto update on Linux.

Yes guys, you did an excellent job and we’re all really appreciating it! and we want you to know it :slight_smile:

@protocol77 here it is http://forums.nzbdrone.com/discussion/354/nzbdrone-for-ubuntudebianmint

Looks fantastic. Will donate. How are you guys doing money-wise btw? Are you just doing this for fun on the sidelines or how is it?

@vastaranta thanks!

Its a side project and it pays for itself (servers etc), but not a whole lot more. We didn’t start it to make money, if it treats us to a drink or two we’re more than happy!

Just starting to test out NZBDrone and I must say I really like it. The simplicity but still have the power over all the options, and it looks amazing. My only problem is, i run everything on my Synology nas an for now that’s not supported :frowning:

Hey I just want to say, I installed NZBDrone on my Ubuntu server on Saturday, by Sunday I turned of Sickbeard. I gotta say, you guys are doing an awesome job. A private nzb index site forum post told me about nzbdrone, and I’m so glad I tried it out, and with the only Android app NZB360 supporting nzbdrone, it couldn’t be happier. So once again, thanks guys. Truly, a great job, and I will be donating to show my appreciation!

I’ve been speaking to the dev of NzbUnity on IOS and giving him a bit of a nudge to implement Drone support in his app. He seems pretty open to it, so fingers crossed :slight_smile:
