Usenet BlackHole downloads not getting automatically imported

starting today none of my downloads were automatically imported by Sonarr

I’m also seeing many of these errors in the log
DownloadMonitoringService Unable to retrieve queue and history items from SABNZBd shows: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

SABNZBd shows is the name of my Usenet BlackHole download client

Sonarr develop version 2.0.0.3969 - Mar 16 2016
SABNZBd version 1.0.0
on Windows 10 Home Premium

I was able to manually import the downloads

Which download client are you using?

You can’t have both SAB and Usenet Blackhole enabled, only one will be used (likely the first one created, but its not guaranteed). If you’re using SABnzbd as your download client don’t use Usenet Blackhole or Drone Factory to handle importing.

If SAB and Sonarr aren’t on the same machine use a Remote Path Mapping.

I use SAB with Usenet blackhole… Sonarr dumps NZBs in a SAB watched folder, my post proc script moves the video to a Usenet blackhole watch folder.

I used this method because it seemed that I could not use my post proc script with a SAB download client setup and also because I do not like that Sonarr deletes the “junk” files in the completed download folder.

Looking at some other posts, it seems that now Sonarr is waiting for SAB post proc to complete before importing videos so I’ll try using the SAB download client; however, it would be nice to have an option to disable deleting “leftover” files.

Fixed UsenetBlackhole throwing that error on .3970 develop. tnx for reporting.

You should still get sabnzbd pp script fixed and use the real sabnzbd client, really.

Thanks.

I have my pp script working with SAB client now… using a new category, as suggested in the wiki, helped. I do like the extra feedback you get with the SAB client.
