Upon downloading an upgrade Sonarr seems to be deleting the associated files, which i do not believe it should be doing…

It doesn’t at the moment. Probably one of the programs scanning the files (kodi, plex, etc) is doing something.
Edit: My bad, apparently it does for these filetypes.
nope it is definitely Sonarr, I manually deleted an episode, and the nfo and episode image did not disappear until I force refreshed the series in Sonarr
Why shouldn’t it? The episode file format exist so the metadata files it was a tracking were deleted, it will do the same thing if it upgrades an episode file.
because i have metadata disabled in Sonarr… also on upgrade the nfo and episode image should remain the same anyways… so why delete to redownload…
