So since i saw the post the other day i have been curious as to how the process of the name change is going this seems to be happening a fair bit lately XBMC is in the process of changing their name (to the horribly named Kodi)
So I and hopefully several others have submitted possible name suggestions to the form but we are unable to see what ones have been submitted or how many have been
so would love possible a peek at the list that is being compiled i have submitted about 4 if i remember correctly would love to see what everyone else came up with?
We received a lot of names, but we won’t be making the list public, we may release a smaller subset of the list, but that becomes tricky because people could register the domain names before we get a chance and we don’t want to throw money at it.
We’ll see what we can do to provide some more insight.
It’s not that they could, it’s that they will. Don’t post any of the names you’re thinking of before you’ve actually registered the domain you want. It would be pretty lame if Drone misses out on an awesome new name just because of some domain squatter.
