I believe my issue is Unwanted Quality Upgrades. I have read the forums and attempted to resolve the issue to no avail. I use Deluge as my downloader. It is not setup as a black hole. I seem to be getting dup downloads of higher quality releases. Any help is greatly appreciated and I apologize if this is a request I should have been able to solve on my own.
I am running OSX 10.11 if that is helpful.
Start at the activity history tab. It will show you all the grabbed releases, and give a better picture why an additional download was initiated.
If you’re using the Any profile anywhere Sonarr will be looking for an “upgrade” to anything thats not SDTV since the profile was reordered and SDTV is now the most preferred quality and the cutoff is SDTV.
I am indeed using the Any Profile , however, I do not understand what you are suggesting I adjust.
I have all these profiles that seem to be setup by default. I truly really only want SD and HD720. What is the best way to adjust my settings?
I went to IRC and was helped by some awesome folks. I think I got it, I adjusted my Any profile to only have 2 options as shown here.
I will monitor this for the next few days.
If you only want one quality to download, regardless of the quality, set the cutoff to WEBDL-720p. As it sits right now, if WEBDL-720p or HDTV-720p is grabbed before SDTV and SDTV comes out later it will still “upgrade” to SDTV. If the goal is to end up with the smallest file on disk then that is what you want.
