Unable to restore in a headless Ubuntu guest vm

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.10.1566
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 6.12.0.182
OS: Ubuntu 22.04 (jammy)
Debug logs: None available
Description of issue:

Restore from a backup file hangs. Sonarr is running in a headless Ubuntu guest VM, both host and guest are running Ubuntu 22.04.
Running the browser from the host, connected to http://<guest_ip>:8989.
When I select the Backup file and click the orange Restore button, it just spins forever and eventually stops with no error message.

I copied the Backup file from the guest to a directory on the host. The backup was done in version v3.0.6.1342 on Ubuntu as well, not sure if that matters.
Both host and guest are on the same subnet that’s RFC-1918 compliant 192.168.x.x network.

I figured out the solution myself. It turns out I had to update the sonarr version on my old system, did another backup and used that backup file to restore on the new system.
I hit the SQLite malformed data error.
