I’m guessing the most interesting part of the logs is the following occuring in FilterSceneMappings in SceneMappingService when matching a specific show:
[v4.0.15.2941] System.Text.RegularExpressions.RegexParseException: Invalid pattern ‘?i)[. ]FRENCH[. ]’ at offset 1. Quantifier {x,y} following nothing.
The issue occurs when i’m searching manually for any episode of Top Chef (tvdb id : 255968).
As stated in the title the issue seemed to occur after a scene naming exception i recently asked for was added for this show :
10/18/2025 15:24:07 — 255968 — Top.Chef.S16E01.FRENCH.1080p.WEB.H264-BTT (Top Chef France) — Top Chef (FR) — Another release was already added for this show but this one seems better. — Updated
I added this show to sonarr a few days ago, before realizing it was still available on replay services, so i probably won’t download it after all.
Removing the scene naming exception would be a decent quick fix, otherwise i’m guessing there is an error in the match pattern.
