I am not sure if this is an issue with the thetvdb or Sonarr getting updated information.
If the last day or so the new thetvdb version has gone live. I did originally have problems accessing the web site but I can now do so without an issue.
Season 4 of The Man in the High Castle has come down overnight but Sonarr is only showing episode 1 rather than the whole season. I have checked in thetvdb and all the episodes are listed.
Perhaps this is a cache issue on the Sonarr end. If so I would be grateful if it would be refreshed as at the moment Sonarr will not download the episodes automatically.
Same issue here. It appears to be a similar problem to what happened with GoT earlier this year. Sonarr only has 1 episode listed and titled “TBA”. TVDB has the whole season with named episodes.
I believe you can somewhat fix this by changing your renaming scheme to not include Episode Name. To be honest - I’d rather there was an option to “force” Sonarr to update it’s information from TVDB. I deleted the show from Sonarr and readded - but no luck.
There is a facility within V3 Media Management Settings “Episode Title Required”; I have this set to Never so the issue with the TBA doesn’t happen. I guess that is why I downloaded episode 1 but not the rest of them.
same is happening with Building Giants! S03E02 is in TVDB webpage, but it isn’t grabbed by Sonarr! any suggestions on what to do when this type of problems happens? i tried already refresh series!
They pulled this crap a few months back when they went to the new sight. My Synology stopped pulling information. They rolled back and everything started working again. It looks like the crap is back.
I hope they roll back again. I hate the new site.
As a developer i can tell you they have no intention of rolling this one back. Them sticking through the backlash for a week shows they plan to ride it out and fix things as reported. Everyone who uses their site is to bend to their will and deal with it or use alternatives (when alternatives are an option). Sonarr is the ONLY thing i use that deals with tvdb because it is forced. All my code i re-wrote to use tmdb, plex checks tmdb, etc
Yea, i dont help much. Only for specific shows/episodes i need for series i personally watch. I simply wont do it for the greater good because of the toxic staff and the amount of BS it takes to add/manage things with their UI
