I did a search but could not find any post on this topic.
I recently activated torrents as a backup to nzb posts. All has worked great until I realized that some torrents are getting stuck due to naming convention.
The episode is grabbed and downloaded but after seeding CDH does not move, rename and delete from torrent client. It also does not get blacklisted with Sonarr going out to find another episode. They basically just get stuck unless I intervene. I have three of them in my activity queue right now.
The error is "incomplete download or season number. In all cases the files are named: show.704 vs. show.s07e04
Is there some kind of mapping I need to do to ensure the naming convention being used in these cases is recognized? Or should Sonarr after some time put the file to the blacklist and try again?
Thanks for any insight on this. I prefer to have it turnkey and and work without me monitoring such things.
Whats the full file name? If its Series.title.704.hdtv[eztv].avi or similar (end of the filename has text in square brackets) its getting parsed as an absolute episode number and we have a fix for that, if its something else we need file names and log files because we don’t log incomplete download or season number anywhere.
Sonarr will only blacklist something that fails in the download client, failing to import is not a cause for blacklisting and looking for an alternative release. As with any system some monitoring needs to take place, you can use Manual Import to correct the import failure and have Sonarr import it.
I am running the Phaze uRaid plugin version of Sonarr, so guess I will just wait for the stable release as messing with the unRaid installs can be a pain.
At least I know the issue and that a fix is on the way.
