Thumbnail folder showing in manual import in V3

**Sonarr version 3.0.3.741:
**Mono version 5.20.1.19
OS: QNAP QTS 4.4.1

Description of issue:

When I run a Manual import on a folder which contains an MP4 file and a thumbnail subfolder named .@_thumb which should be ignored as it starts with a period, I see all the items in the thumbnail folder presented in the list. (see screenshot)

With a large number of video files, the number of thumbnails create extra workload and extend the list unnecessarily.

Can these be suppressed please?

Sonarr does not ignore files/folders because of a period at the start, we don’t plan to either, but we should be able to filter out the files in the thumb folder, but need to know if that’s a double underscore or some other character that looks like it.

Please post the debug logs of Sonarr processing that folder.

The Directory name has 2 underscores - and I have pasted it in hex - 2E405F5F7468756D62.

Sorry I a newbie - how do I post the logs please

Additional Information:

  • Information on the log files is here: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/wiki/Log-Files
  • Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings
  • Post the log file, not a line or two, or just the error from the Logs table
  • Post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar and link it here
  • Do not post them directly here. Post in .txt not .doc, .rtf or some other formatted document

sonarr.debug.txt is at https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ZGU7rARB9o2jXlfDSeKhiJU9inMvo2bt

I don’t see any path with .@__, so I assume it’s a random debug log, which won’t show anything, but should be fine without.

do I need to do any further to have this request progress?

I applied the updates as per the screen shot, Updates page and ran a manual import which still shows the files under the thumbnail directories - Screen shot of output

Debug log is here

Thanks, looks like there is an edge case specific to manual import that I missed, we’ll get it in an upcoming build.

much appreciated

Just updated to Version 3.0.3.757, and no mention of .@__thumb entries during a manual import where I know that a .@__thumb directory exists.

A great result - Thank you
