sounds like a similar issue im having with The Kardashians

whenever sonarr grabs the latest episode of The Kardashians ( 414093)
it updates the metadata / show info with Keeping up with the Kardashians (414093)

is there a way to fix this so i dont have to manually change the show details in plex… or is this a plex issue??

This is not an issue with Sonarr, but you may be able to correct this by having Sonarr set the series folder to include the TVDB ID.
