System Internet Connectivity Issues

Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows) : N/A
OS : Win8.1 Pro

Description of issue : No access for the program to the internet

Additional Information:

  • The error from memory has just occurred after changing VPN providers. I uninstalled the PIA and this seems to be the time the issues occurred. Since then I have installed the NordVPN and uninstalled it to no avail.
  • I’ve also uninstalled Sonarr and reinstalled, no joy.
  • Also restored an older back up and still no joy.
  • I do have access to the internet on the machine for all other applications, so really am stumped

Update: Just installed Radarr, added the same Indexers and connections are fine.

All help welcomed and appreciated.

Providing a solution instead of requesting the post to be deleted could help others. What was the solution?

Well the solution makes me look rather stupid in fairness… :blush:

I didn’t realise I was using proxy info in the settings that were pointing to the old VPN which had been cancelled…
