Strange extra epsidoes when adding new series

HI,

I just added the series “Benched”

These were the list of episodes when the series info was scraped. As you can see, there are duplicate entries of differing names and also an entry at 0 saying “please remove this episode”:

I know we’ve just moved to TVDb and i suspect this is the issue, but is there any fix on the horizon for not getting these extraneous entries?

Thanks

Shaolin

EDIT:

I also added the series “The Librarians” immediately after adding Benched and it seems to be some cross references going on since the episodes in parenthesis eg.

And the Crown of King Arthur (1)

Were showing up in the list of episodes for Benched. A refresh of the series Benched removed these duplicate entries and sorted them back to their respective series pages but the episode at 0 entitled “please remove this episode” still persists.

Did you look at the page for Benched season 1 on TheTVDB? It shows 13 episodes, with episode 0 being the same as you have pointed out. At the moment until its removed it will be there.

We’ll be doing some extra clean up once our new solution is in place.

Thats usually an indicator that its episode 1 of 2 in a multi-episode release (or two episodes aired on the same day), which is the case here (both have the same air date on TheTVDB).

I understand there will be some teething issues with the new move to TVDb.

Regarding the episode And the Crown of King Arthur (1), i understand that the parenthesis indicate a multi part episode. My query was why is an episode for Librarians appearing in the list for Benched?

And the Crown of King Arthur (1) = Librarians (yet appeared briefly in the list for Benched until refreshed)

When you say refreshed, you refreshed the series page or the series via Update series?

I refreshed the series page

Very odd, I can’t think of any reason that would or could happen. Unless episodes were linked to the wrong series, but then a refresh from TVDB would have fixed it.

as i say, it was short lived. a simple refresh sorted the problem.
