Stop early file from downloading

Sonarr version (exact version): 4.0.12.2823
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Ubuntu 24
Debug logs:
Description of issue: There are times (though rare) that a release will get put out there early. For example this latest one is Silo S02 E10. It doesn’t air until Thursday and has already downloaded 2X but never processes because it’s not a valid file but it keeps downloading and consuming my bandwidth. Is there a way to not download these or flag a specific release to not download until the date of the show airing or any way to stop these invalid releases from downloading? I realize it’s more of an edge case but it’s just frustrating having to clear it and have it download the same exact thing over and over. I’ve taken to not clearing it until it’s time for the real release but even then it will sometimes grab the bad release again. I think it is someone just trying to get people to download a virus so they name it like a normal release that I download (this is the ELITE release) and I use that release a lot but when this happens I usually have to go download manually after the air date.

I’m not sure about delaying the download but there is a setting in the indexers to fail downloads if a dangerous file is found. You can choose between Executables and/or Potentially Dangerous. I think these rely on the file extension so if you are using Usenet the download and unpack will have to complete first before this comes into play. If you are using SABnzbd there is an Unwanted extensions setting wher you can enter a list of filetypes to fail.
If you are using torrents then in QBittorrent there is a similar setting in options/downloads.
