Still cannot add Root Folder

Sonarr version 3.0.6.1342:
Mono version 5.20.1.34:
OS Windows 10 and DSM7 on NAS:
Debug logs:
Description of issue:

<!--- Installed Sonarr on the NAS. When I want to add series i get "Invalid Path". When i go settings to Add Root Folder i can go to the folder on my NAS where i want everything downloaded but as soon as i click OK, nothing happens. I have the Permission sc-download on the folder. Can someone please help me?

its possibly a DSM7 thing - theres been a few issues with it.

set the logs to debug, then add the root folder - upload and link to the log file for that time period

if possible think about using the sonarr docker image instead of the dsm package. bit of work up front but once thats done its typically smooth sailing and then theres never any worries about DSM changes breaking it.

this ^

DSM7 causes and caused all sorts of permission fun

the NAS packages are poorly maintained by their communities and poorly supported

if your nas supports docker; that is the better route https://wiki.servarr.com/docker-guide
https://trash-guides.info/hardlinks/

Thank you both, I will try the docker version.

I have a DS216play and it seems Docker doesn’t work on those, Shame
