Sonarr version (exact version): Sonarr Ver. 2.0.0.4689

OS: DSM 5.2-5967
((Debug logs)):

(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here)
Description of issue:

Sonar is renaming .SRT files with double periods - ie: episode.srt is renamed as episode…srt

Please post the relevant ((debug logs). Is this when importing new episodes or renaming existing files.

I thought we squashed that bug on develop like 2-3 weeks ago.

I’ll have to do some googling to find out how to turn on logs sorry.

I have not tried importing episodes, only renaming episodes and the rename bug occurs then (I usually manually copy the files into the series/season folder on my NAS manually, then go to Sonarr and scan and rename the series with the new episodes).

The last link in your original post goes to the wiki page with information on how to enable debug logging and where to find them.

logs switched on, renamed a series folder and the double period in the filename also happens with IDX and SUB files.

trying to find WHERE the logs are stored on my Synology NAS.

logs shared. thank you.

I have the same issue… With both .srt and .sub/.idx.
Can i post my logs anywhere or do i have to make a new thread?

EDIT: Although it’s not always the case, I see now. Sometimes it’s just one dot.

Upload the ((debug logs)) somewhere and link them here, no need for a new thread.

Here are the logs for when i renamed Jessica Jones that resulted in double-dotted .sub and .idx-files. I can’t see anything interesting though. Maybe you can.

Thanks, found the issue and pushed a fix for it to develop.
