Description of issue:

After upgrading to V4 Sonarr can no longer import files. It can correctly find and download them but fails importing them, even manually. It’s also giving an I/O error but with no description.

I did end up working this out. Basically copy didn’t work only hardlinks. So I worked out my hardlink issues and that solved my problems.
