Sonarr Use Question

So I have been using Sonarr for a year and a half or so - I guess I am committed to having a Synology NAS running permanently.
The “extra” Windows PC that I have Sonarr running on , not so much. It takes some addnl effort.

Just in general does Sonarr (and Radarr) run on Synology NAS as well - or is just better to keep the Windows PC going seperately ??

Pretty general question but I was hoping someone has had some personal experience with this.

Sonarr and radarr run fine in docker containers on synology. Don’t bother with the community syno package, get a nas that supports docker.

Thanks for the reply – synology supports docker doesn’t it?? I have a DS918+

I’m fairly sure that model does, yes.

Maybe I didn’t phrase my reply clear enough, I meant to say “make sure your synology nas supports docker”
Some of the older or entry level models don’t support it.
