Sonarr unable to import from queue, meta data missing

Sonarr version (exact version): 4.0.15.2941
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Docker Proxmox Ubuntu
Debug logs: sonarr.debug.txt · GitHub
Description of issue: Sonarr is not able to import files manually or automatically from the queue because no meta data is coming up as options when typing in the series it comes up as unknown series. this happens for all my Qbittorent manually added with a category.

However if i use the Sonarr search and download that way then the meta data is processed.

‘Series title mismatch. automatic import is not possible’ ‘Release rejected, unknown series’ This happens for all common series taht are in the imdb database. and then when choosing the series to add manually, only the imdb data that i have previously searched and added via the main radarr search bar is listed as options for the unknown title.

The series needs to be added to Sonarr for it to import it.

Sonarr uses TheTVDB, Radarr uses TMDb, neither uses IMDB.

Thanks for your reply, so everything is working as intended then.
TLDR if i manually add a rarer torrent from say a private tracker to qbittorent assign it the tv-sonarr category, sonarr picks it up. I have to then search for it again in the main search bar and add it before I can import it? This workaround method does work on my side but just seems a bit clunky with the extra steps.

That’s not a workaround, that is how Sonarr works. The series needs to be in Sonarr for Sonarr to grab or import releases.
