Sonarr Stopped Working 2 Days Ago

Sonarr version (Most Recent):
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS Mac:
((Debug logs)):
(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here)
Description of issue:

I attempt to login in like always in the browser and Sonarr returns this in the address bar http://localhost:8989/login?returnUrl=/ and a blank page. It worked fine on 9/11, the most recent show it downloaded aired that date. I didn’t change anything on this computer to break it. The last update I did was update Plex to the DVR beta.

I tried downloading the latest version from the site and running Time Machine to recover the app from when it was working and neither helped.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like the password was changed then it took effect whenever Sonarr was restarted.

You’ll need to disable authentication following this guide: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/wiki/Disable-Authentication

A million times thank you!!! That worked!!!

Same problem. This fix worked for me too but when I try and re-add the username and password using Forms, the same issue arrises. It seems the latest update broke authentication?

Anyone else?

Any errors in the logs? Nothing in the latest release should have affected authentication.

I had the same problem on a MacMini running OSX 10.11.6. When I tried to login, it just returned http://localhost:8989/login?returnUrl=/1 with a blank page. In my case, it looks like an issue with the Mono Framework. I was running release 4.2 and the latest is 4.6. I downloaded and installed the latest release from http://www.mono-project.com/download/. Now the login is working properly again.
