Sonarr still searching for episodes even when RSS is disabled

Sonarr version (exact version): 4.0.15.2940-ls149 by linuxserver.io
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): My Sonarr container reports this: .NET Yes (6.0.13)
OS: UnRAID v7.1.4
Debug logs: PrivateBin
Description of issue:

Sonarr sometimes still grabs some episodes that are wanted, but the RSS Sync is on 0 minutes.
So I would expect that Sonarr wouldn’t grab anything at all, because the RSS Sync is turned off.
About a year ago, setting the RSS Sync to 0 minutes would grab nothing until the value was altered.
Now I use Sonarr, and while the RSS Sync is set to 0 minutes, now and then Sonarr still pushes downloads to my qBit instance…

My only question is: why is Sonarr still, now and then, grabbing episodes instead of grabbing nothing…

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,

TechInt

Hi @fanboy,

Thanks for the quick reply.
What can I do to resolve that error you’re mentioning?
I’ve already searched on Google for that error but I’m not getting any results that offer a solution to this problem.
Maybe you can explain to me what I can do to solve this.

Sorry but I’m bit of a newbie regarding Sonarr errors.
Thanks in advance,

TechInt

I meant that your logs are not there - that’s the error that shows on the PrivateBin link.

You’ll need to upload your logs again in order for anyone to be able to take a look and figure out what might have happened. And the logs will need to have captured an instance where something was sent to qbit.

As you have pointed out though, with RSS set to 0, nothing should be happening without you initiating it.

Ah okay, thanks for the heads up.
Here is the latest log: PrivateBin

The weird thing is, it just download sometimes a episode, but indeed with RSS set to 0 I wouldn’t even expect it to do that…

Hoping that someone can help me out here, never had it before with Sonarr.
Thanks in advance, TechInt.

PS. If you or someone else needs more info, please let me know!

The logs don’t show anything, but if episodes are added after they air Sonarr will try to search for them, beyond that it should only be looking at RSS or handling failed downloads.

Logs around the time an item is added will show more information and history might give a little more info.

Here I have a log from 06 Sept. where he added an episode to qBit, without me askiing for it…

Were these series recently added and Sonarr was told to search on add? Given the age of the series + the full season search this isn’t due to items being added after their air date.

Yes, that one I gave the job to search manually.
It is about a episode of Kitchen Nightmares US.

That is the one that I didn’t initiate myself…
Don’t know if that one is in the log too?

The only thing for Kitchen Nightmares I saw was it refreshing and scanning the disk.

That’s weird.
I am sure that for Kitchen Nightmares, I haven’t searched for the series in a long time.
Would that be new episodes aired, that Sonarr is looking for?

I will keep an eye out for it, when it downloads something new, I’ll save the log and post it here.
