Description of issue:
Found a couple of issues that I don’t quite understand. I ran an automatic search for all of The Boys from season 2 to latest. I only had season 1 previously downloaded. My first question is that for season 2, Sonarr returned torrents for individual episodes, though it did not do this for season 3 or 4, instead preferring season packs. I am not sure why it did this, but it should be reflected in the debug file above labeled “First pass”. And I am posting a picture of what the torrent selection looks like when I search for season packs for this season (the red exclamation marks all say “Existing file meets cutoff” because I have already download the episodes). In this instance, can anyone say why Sonarr returned individual episodes instead of one of the packs? I would definitely prefer season packs.
My second question, and the question that actually drove me to post this, is that when it was downloading individual episodes, it returned the first torrent on this list, even though the second torrent was the same quality and had more seeders. This should also be reflected in the first pass debug log. This is what the torrent selection looks like for this episode (S02E03):
Then, when I removed that specific episode from Sonarr and then re-ran the automatic search, it actually did return the second torrent, which had many more seeders and downloaded much faster. This should be reflected in the second pass debug log. If Sonarr was set to just download the first torrent it came across for whatever reason, I would understand to a degree, but I am not sure why on the second search it selected the right one, though this may be because I had already downloaded the first?
Can anyone look into these debug files and advise me on what is going on? This isn’t a terrible issue but I have noticed Sonarr occasionally doing this. For the record, in case this is needed, here is my quality profile for this show:
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
