Hey all. Super new to the arr apps so bear with me. I successfully linked my Sonarr with Prowlarr and qBitTorrent. I tried looking through the wiki for answers to some of my questions but to no luck. I’m hoping you guys can help me.
I decided to download a tv show using qbit and not Sonarr. Is there a way to add that show to Sonarr? How would I go about doing that?
I wanted to use Sonarr for anime, so I added nyaa indexer to Prowlarr. When indexing, it was taking a lot longer than indexing for regular TV shows. I checked the logs because it was almost like it wasn’t working. Is this normal?
Before using the arr apps, I liked to hand-pick some groups that I knew had pretty good encodes (qxr, utr, ect). Would there be a way to prioritize a certain group and if for instance, it can’t find it from that group, it would pick from all indexers? I was reading about making tags but I have no idea how to make them or make them work.
See the QuickStart guide on the wiki. It is not possible to add a series to sonarr any other way besides in Sonarr. Then either manual import or add it to sonarr’s DL cat.
Don’t search Nyaa. You will be permanently banned because they hate automation and think it is stupid.

Not possible. Everything sonarr does is logged. Info logs show very little information. See the search troubleshooting article in the wiki. Most likely a combination of Nyaa returning a ton of results + aliases searched. Everything must be parsed by sonarr.
Tags have nothing to do with what is or isn’t grabbed and anyone who says otherwise has no idea what they’re talking about. Release Profiles is what you want. Again, see the QuickStart guide in the wiki and the settings page for release profiles.
