Sonarr on Synology DSM 6

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anybody has been able to get Sonarr working on DSM 6? My Sonarr service wont start after the upgrade to 6… woops.

Its killing me… if anybody knows a solution I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks

Are there any errors in the log files?

Hi Markus,

Unfortunately there is nothing that I can see that shows any errors, only install package/update package

Check the link I posted above, it shows the log file location on Synology.

i dont think the synocomunity officaly support dsm 6 yet. and they are awere that sonarr is broken.

You can try installing docker, and run a sonarr container.

Sonarr works fine for me on DSM 6.0-7274 installed from SynoCommunity. I don’t think it’s something wrong with the package from SynoCommunity but possibly something environmental. I didn’t have Sonarr installed when I upgraded to 6.0 I was using Sickbeard then migrated to Sonarr after upgrading to 6.0.

Is there a guide on how to do this? Sorry mate just don’t know how to do that

I just tried completely uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling but to no avail :frowning:

Did you do anything different after installing DSM 6 + Sonarr to get it working?

thanks

have you tried reinstalling mono?
you can also try upgrading mono to 4.+. (bata packages)

Nope I didn’t do anything special but as I said I didn’t upgrade to 6.0 with Sonarr actually installed as I was still using Sickrage at the time (The upgrade might have done something and even after a install something might be lingering). When I installed Sonarr and Mono it was both done via Package Center from the SynoCommunity repo.

I don’t use docker myself, but it is a standard package. A compiled Sonarr container can be found at https://github.com/ptb?tab=repositories
