Sonarr on Mac keeps failing/hanging

Sonarr version (exact version): 4.0.16.2944
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): Unknown
OS: MacOS 26.2
Debug logs:

Description of issue:
Since upgrading to 4.0.16.2944 every so often I try and access the Sonarr webUI and it either isn’t responsive, reloading the page results in a web browser timeout connecting, or I see a message relating to lost connection to the backend. I have to force quit the Sonarr process and re-open the Sonarr app.

Which SQLite version are you using? (Shown on System: About)

Sounds similar to the following, not sure if SQLite was also recently updated.

The logs you linked are not valid.

Sqlite 3.36.0

I’ll try and post logs when it happens again

It happened again, I had to force quit Sonarr and re-launch. The WebUI was just not responding, a reload just sat there spinning.
Sonarr.Debug.txt here hopefully

Sonarr.txt here hopefully

Both logs have expired already. I believe the default is only 1 hour, you should set it to a week to be safe or use a different storage mechanism.

Sorry I missed the settings for expiry

Does it always get stuck processing files like this? When it happens again you can grab the logs from disk before restarting to see without having to dig through them too.

Potentially something corrupt with that file leading to a crash/hang, it’s something we used to see more of in v3 with mediainfo though.

I will check next time it happens.

This only started since upgrading to 4.0.16.2944, I never had any issues with 4.0.15.2941.

Does downgrading back to 4.0.15.2941 make a difference?

The changes in 4.0.16.2944 are very minor, you can see the full list here:

Really nothing there that would cause crashes like this and not something that has been reported by others in the months since it was released.

I will downgrade and monitor.

It’s been 6 days since downgrading and I’ve not had any issues
