Sonarr has just grabbed a whole bunch of WEBDL-480p’s to replace some SD’s - that’s correct. The nzb’s and files are correctly named, and Sonarr correctly tags them as WEBDL-480p in Activity but once it imports them into the library,it tags them as HDTV-720p, despite the file resolution being 852x480.
With my settings, this means that if 720p’s appear in the future, Sonarr will ignore them as it thinks it already has them. Any ideas what’s going on?

Sonarr falls back to the extension to determine the quality if the file and folder don’t contain the information, which in the case of .mkv is HDTV 720p.
The filenames are obfuscated, so it looks like Sonarr is falling back to look at the extracted folder name and correctly identifying the file as WEBDL-480p, but it’s still being tagged as HDTV-720p, and if I manually change the tag from the Series/Episode screen, it reverts on refresh.

Ahh, yeah, we only use the folder’s quality when its better than the file, which is why it doesn’t use it in this case, I’ve added an issue to Github to look for a solution.
