Description of issue:
Hi all, I have installed Sonarr on my Synology NAS. And I am able to launch it using IPaddress:8989. But if I active my DDNS and then launch MyDDNS.com:8989 its not working getting timeout and blank page.
Anybody can help me to have Sonarr working with my DDNS
This most likely requires you to forward port 8989 in your router to the internal address of your NAS. That depends on your routers’ capabilities and how you have to configure the options to do so.
At a minimum, configure a strong password since you’ll make your sonarr install available to the entire world, and I would recommend using a reverse proxy to handle authentication, but that’s another can of worms.
