Description of issue: Cloudflare blocks indexer.
Was about to throw in my concern for this issue, but someone seems to have beaten me to it.
On Windows, getting error while testing indexer settings:
HTTP Error - Res: [GET] http:/ /www.nyaa.se/?page=rss&cats=1_37&filter=0&offset=1: 503.ServiceUnavailable
Sonarr is one of my favorite programs, so hopefully this isn’t a massive issue. Haven’t dealt with Cloudflare before however, so I’m not sure as to the work involved.
I know flexget has a plugin to get past cloudflare so im hoping sonarr can do the same or implement, its pretty sad they did this i understand for ddos but you can also solve that with hardware that doesnt fuck up the rss feeds which are now pointless.
They fixed the issue mark this as closed.
This happened the other day as well, doesn’t look like they are continually blocking Sonarr, just happens sometimes.
I am experiencing the same fate as well.
Is this something that can be fixed by an update?
Any idea on how to work around this or will there be an official “update” or “fix”?
There’s an issue raised here for anyone wanting to look at a few more replies and ideas:
What I do not get why some people have this issue and others don`t I have this issue in example but i heard from others they can still connect to Nyaa
Yeah, it’s still intermittent, but the 503 errors haven’t stopped. The HTML captured in the GET request is the CloudFlare protection page, which is naturally causing the indexer to fail. It’s not that Sonarr is being blocked, but rather it’s just hitting the wall. I’m not sure flexget’s solution is, but some way to just wait out the check and try after a delay seems simple enough, though I once again don’t know how CloudFlare handles requests.
The searches are working again.
