Sonarr fails to import downloaded files

Sonarr version (exact version): 4.0.9.2244
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 6.0.13
OS: Tuxedo (Ubuntu-based)
Description of issue: Fails to import videos to their respective directories
I use Sabnzbd to download videos. Sonarr determines which videos to download. Communication between Sabnzbd and Sonarr has no problems.
Sonarr does not transfer the downloaded videos from the Sabnzbd completed downloads directory to the appropriate directory for each video.

I installed Sonarr and gave it the same user and group as me.

I think it must be something related to directory and file permissions that’s preventing Sonarr to complete the task, but I don’t what to do. Is there something to troubleshoot or a step by step procedure to fix the problem?

EDIT: I had a similar problem last January, but it was on a different computer. Unfortunately I didn’t make a note about how I solved it then.

The effort you took to remove the line to provide debug logs could have been used to provide debug logs…

From the new topic template, the wiki explains how to change log levels:

Additional Information:
HOW TO PROVIDE DEBUG LOGS

  • Read the Logging and Log Files wiki section before posting - Sonarr Troubleshooting | Servarr Wiki
  • Change the Log Level to Debug in Sonarr’s General settings and then recreate your issue/wait for it to reoccur
  • Post the full contents of the log file (not a line or two, or just the error from the Events table) to one of the sites recommended in the wiki
  • Do NOT use pastebin.com as their filters have a tendency to block the logs
  • Do NOT copy and paste logs here or provide download links to log files
  • Do NOT edit, trim, or reformat the logs

Here’s the log file.

Thanks for any assistance.

Thank you. I don’t know what the problem was, but I solved it by exiting and restarting Sonarr. After the restart of the program I could select the right log.

EDIT: I’m referring to the debug logs, not the main problem!

Possibly not related, but good to do: looks like you are not using a Category for SAB. Set that up.

The actual issue seems to be permissions related. Probably check per here:
