Sonarr Deleting Additional Files in Folder like Subtitles?

Hello Everyone,

I am running v2.0.0.4472 on Windows, and it is generally working good. However, I recently replaced some WEB-DLs with BluRay versions and did a scan, it picked up the files correctly. The folder also had a set of IDX/SUB files named like the BluRay.

I then renamed the BluRay files but all the IDX/SUB files were deleted rather than being renamed as well.

I understand that Sonarr may not support subtitles, but why is it also cleaning out all other files?

Is there a way to delete this behavior - seems a bit dangerous?

Thanks.

Sonarr cleans up the folder after import as long as there aren’t valid video files in there. There is no way to alter that behaviour at this time, but it’s something we’re working on.

Thank you for the confirmation - I was just surprised at the behavior because it wasn’t clearly stated in the UI.

It caught me off guard - good to know for the future, just in case I put in a file that shouldn’t belong in there.

Thank you!
