Sonarr creating read-only folders on network share

Sonarr version 2.0.0.4374, Windows 10

My Sonarr app is running on a W10 machine with all my plex drives on my network machine. When I add a show to Sonarr, it creates the folders on the network machine, however sometimes it doesn’t create an “owner” of the folder. This creates huge issues in trying to modify or remove the data because it has no owner.

The weird thing is that I added two new shows yesterday, one was created with the owner HTPC/Guest, the other didn’t have an owner thus became read only and couldn’t be removed, even from the admin account of the network machine.

Is there anyway to fix this problem?

Sonarr doesn’t create the folder with any specific permissions, the folder should inherit the permissions directly from the share.

Are you connecting to the share with guest permissions?
Are folders on the network share side inheriting permissions/ownership from their parent?
