Sonarr connection error with SABnzb

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.3.911
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 6.4.0.198
OS: Mac OSX Mojave 10.14.6
Debug logs: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fxipQaa4Xn241Or_rOVulufqgeqxpH-R/view?usp=sharing
Description of issue:

I have had Sonarr and SABnzb working well for years, but all of a sudden the two can no longer connect. I haven’t changed any settings, have had a similar issue before and disabling certificate validation fixed it, but it hasn’t worked in this case.

Thanks in advance!

Unable to connect to SABnzbd, Error: ConnectFailure (Connection refused): ‘https://localhost:9090/api?mode=version&apikey=(removed)&output=json

Connection refused, probably one of the following:

  • Not listening on that port
  • Blocked by firewall
  • SAB not running
  • Wrong hostname

For localhost there is no need to use SSL to connect to it, if anything was able to spy on that connection you’re already compromised.

Does an insecure connection to SAB work?

Hi Markus101,
Thank you, SAB was running, no firewall blocking and the host name were all correct, but I changed the port for both and turned off SSL and it is working. Thank you for your help!

Nick
