Sonarr Behind Exactly 3 Episodes

I’ve got a bizarre issue. Sonarr has subtracted 3 from the episode count for all episodes. It thinks that Steven Universe season 2 episode 20 should be S02E17. You can see the confusion by the system when I hover over the episode label. This breaks stuff because all the searching is done off this data. When I do a manual search I can see clearly that Sonarr is looking for E17 instead of E20. The debug log doesn’t look very helpful. Any ideas how I might fix this? Maybe there’s some way I can blow away Sonarr’s underlying data store and make it repopulate the show series info?

This just started happening recently, but I’ve had 2.0.0.3357 installed since July 20th.

This is correct. It is using thexem.de to map the numbers from TheTVDB (S02E20) to what the releases are (S02E17), if you do a search for Steven Universe on most (if not all) indexers, you will see that S02E17 was released last week and S02E18 was released very recently today, which matches the dates in Sonarr.

Okay I can see where the problem is coming from. The mapping for S2 is 3 off from the left column to the right.

All the ones I’m seeing on KaT are using what looks like the “correct” mapping to me.

This is bizarre, and quite frankly, unwelcome behavior. Is there any way to disable this mapping, or override it with my own, per series? Something I can do to remedy this? The torrent sites don’t seem to be listing the shows the way that the xem translation expects them to be.

KAT shows both, the WEB-DL 1080p releases (p2p) follow TheTVDB, the rest follow what I can only assume was TVRage, but for sake of argument, they don’t follow any particular order, so they are scene releases.

In this case the scene numbering wins over p2p, mainly because the scene has rules in place and p2p can be the wild wild west.

You can’t disable these mappings either at the series or global level, they are in place to make sure these numbering conflicts work for 99% of shows and 99% of users, this happens to be a bit of an oddball series where both patterns are used and something we aren’t catering to.

In this case the non-scene numbered releases would need to be handled manually.

So there’s no workaround for us besides manually retrieving the episodes outside of Sonarr?

Pretty much yes.

Thexem follows scene. KAT contains both scene and p2p releases, which uses different numbering. There is no way to handle this until thexem is capable of using different numbering for WEB-DL, not going to happen anytime soon.
