Sonaar Time Out/Local Host Wont Load

Hello! Sonaar stopped working for me Sunday night and I am at a loss. My brother set it up for me last year and I’ve had no issues until now. I’ve restarted my computer several times, but each time I type in localhost and select sonaar, I get the error my connection has timed out. :confused: Nothing has changed on my computer since this started happening, so I am pretty baffled. Any help is very appreciated!!

What do the log files show?

Where do I find the log files? I know I used to be able to look at them in the web interface, but since it doesn’t load, I’m not sure where to go. :confused:

I think I found it, its crazy long. Do you want me to paste the whole thing?

Yes, thank you.

It looks there there is another copy of Sonarr running, but possibly in a failed state.

  1. Check task manager to see if anything NzbDrone related is running and stop it if it is
  2. Start Sonarr and see if it loads
  3. If it doesn’t load try a restart of the system

I don’t know what was different about restarting this time as opposed to the other five times LOL - but it worked! Thank you so much for your help, especially since it was a pretty basic problem. :stuck_out_tongue:
