Setting up Sonarr to move downloads to my PLEX folders

Version 3.0.6.1265
Windows

Hey all, Just struggling to find a guide or to figure out for myself how to set up Sonarr to move completed downloads for a TV show into the respective folders for PLEX. ie. place the episodes into the appropriate Season folder. I’m not using docker, that seemed worth mentioning as most guides seem to refer to that.

I’m using Deluge to download. At the moment, downloads remain in Deluge’s ‘completed’ folder. I’ve set Deluge up to remove the downloads once completed.

Everything else is otherwise working, just not this.

Cheers

it does this by design… unless you set your root folder in your downloads folder which causes issues and means you’re ignoring a healthcheck about downloading into you root folder

I’m not sure what you mean about setting my root folder in my downloads folder, can you pls expand on that?

Just reading those articles, it sounds like your saying I shouldn’t download into my library, that’s not what I mean and it’s not what I’m trying to do, because Deluge can’t sort downloaded files into their respective TV show and season subdirectories, so that wouldn’t work anyway.

I want Sonarr to move files from my E:\Torrents\Complete folder to my PLEX library in their appropriate locations. Is it capable of that?

see the quick start guide; that is exactly what it does… set you plex tv library as the root folder and add your shows to sonarr

OK, thanks heaps, I think it’s working just fine, the hardlinks were confusing me as the files were remaining in the torrent download directory

Any tips on how to get them to be cleaned up / deleted?
