Am trying to set up Sonarr so that ONLY the Plex “friendly” formats (ones that Plex can actually stream) are the only ones that I have selected. I’ve searched, but I don’t see a thread that addresses this exact question…
I attached the whole list. Which ones do I need to de-select?
Definitely not this black and white. What Plex can direct stream/play depends on server setup and player, in addition to file container and formats. Being able to filter those can depend on how the file is named so that you can use release profiles to only include or exclude certain releases.
If you want to ensure compliance you’re probably better post-processing everything to a compatible format after download.
