Looking to transition to Drone from SB. One issue that I have not been able to figure out is how to set the default status for a series as it is being added to be unmonitored. In SB, I was able to set the default status of new shows such that all previously-aired episodes were marked as “skipped” (and therefore, would not be downloaded).
The reason I need this feature is that my wife tends to add shows she wants to try out and this way we don’t end up downloading multiple seasons and dozens of episodes for a show that she may only watch a couple of episodes of and decide she doesn’t want.
As @markus101 said unfortunately this is not possible at the moment however i find using the starting season feature works well prevents previous seasons from being monitor so at most all you get is that first season although you could in the meantime just show her how to add a show selecting season one as the starting season then going into the show page and clicking the flag to unmonitor them
not the most elegant solution but at least something for now
