Serie's specials not updated from TVDB

Description of issue: Hi, the serie Burger Quiz (TDVB ID: 255097) is still showing 10 Special episodes in Sonarr, while TVDB has been updated recently and only has 2. It’s been the case for a few weeks already, and even after a refresh on Sonarr side, the data is still incorrect in Sonarr. I suspect a Skyhook cache issue, but i know recently there were also glitches on the recent version of TVDB. Anyone would be able to check where the problem is coming from, and help to fix it if possible ? Thanks !

It’s on TheTVDB’s API not being updated. Editing an episode without changes should fix it once they update the API data and Skyhook updates/clears it’s caches, usually in about 90-120 minutes.

Hi @markus101, i tried updating the first 2 specials on TVDB, and i did multiple refresh on Sonarr a few hours later, but those 2 specials are still showing the old data.

As for deleted episodes, i’m not sure what can be done exactly. I cannot edit episodes that are already deleted on TVDB side to force the update.

Do you think clearing the cache completely on Skyhook side would help ?
Or is there something the TVDB staff need to do on their end ?

No, it won’t.

TVDB staff will need to do something, their API is returning more than the two specials listed.

Would you have an example of the returned data from TVDB API ? So i can request for help on their forum.
I tried to query it but i get a 503 on the login.

The api.thetvdb.com has been returning 503 errors to Kodi for a couple weeks on and off now. I’d guess that Sonarr is also not able to return info from the TVDB api also periodically.

Or please correct me if I’m wrong. Is Sonarr able to contact api.thetvdb.com consistently over the last two weeks?
