I am having this same issue - two show currently (Mr. Selfridge and Indian Summers) - they are definitely monitored in the series - they show on the left-hand-side as upcoming, but they are not in the actual calendar. They still get grabbed, however. I am running the most recent master version on a RaspberryPi.
Further to the above - see image - the shows don’t show on the Day or Week view, but do appear on the Month view of the calendar…
Do they show on the day before, aka Sunday?
Not on the day before either (or weeks either side).
